Getting children to eat a healthy diet can be quite stressful to a busy parent. Luckily, we’ve got an enticing recipe that will make your kids Beg for a healthy breakfast they’ll brag about to their friends.
- 1/4 ripe avocado
- 1/2 cup Frozen Whole Strawberries (No syrup/sweeteners)
- 2 tablespoons plain yogurt (or use Vanilla Yogurt and omit the sugar)
- 1 tablespoon honey or sugar
Combine all into a blender or food processor until mixed, It should be thick and creamy. This recipe offers a healthy alternative to sugar laden breakfast cereals. If you truly have a picky eater, it’s best not to let them see the avocado (which is a wonderful source of Healthy fat)! This amount serves 1 Teenage Boy with a hearty appetite, or 2 normal school age children 😉
sounds delicious – like a recipe i personally would devour! but i have 1 question for the picky 12 year old in my home: Does the avocado turn it a murky brown color?
