7 Layer Ramen Salad

You will need:
– 1 package of ramen noodles
– 2 cups of water
– 1/2 cup of green peas
– 1/2 cup of sweet corn
– 1/2 cup of cooked bacon
– 1 hardboiled egg, chopped
– Mayonnaise (to taste)
– Lettuce
– 3 T. chopped green pepper

1.
Put 2 cups of water in a cooking pot and bring to a boil.
2. Once the water is boiling add your ramen noodles.
3. Wait 2-3 minutes until the noodles are tender and separated.
4. Take off the water with the strainer.

Add the peas and sweet corn.
6. Add the mayonnaise. Mix it.
7. Add bacon & chopped egg.

    7 Layer Chinese Chicken Salad

    5 cups shredded romaine lettuce
    1 pack Oriental-flavor ramen noodle soup mix
    2 cups finely chopped cooked chicken
    1 can (11 oz) white shoepeg corn, drained
    1 large tomato, finely chopped
    1 scallion, finely chopped (2 tablespoons)
    1/2 cup coarsely chopped unsalted dry-roasted peanuts

    Oriental Dressing
    2 tablespoons sugar
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    3/4 teaspoon grated gingerroot
    1/4 cup vegetable oil
    3 tablespoons white vinegar or rice vinegar

    1 Lay lettuce in bottom of large clear glass serving bowl (3-quart). Remove seasoning packet from soup mix; coarsely crush noodles. Over lettuce, layer noodles and remaining salad ingredients in the order listed.

    2 Shake dressing ingredients in a small jar with a tight-fitting lid until well combined. Pour over salad. Serve immediately.
