Whole Wheat Spice Bread Machine Mix

1 1/2 cups Flour
1 1/2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
1 1/2 tablespoons Dry Milk
2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
3/4 teaspoon Salt
1/2 cup Raisins
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon Ginger

Layer all ingredients in Jar Or vacuum seal bag. Add the following in a baggie on top of the mix ingredients:

2 1/2 teaspoons Active Dry Yeast

Attach Tag:
Pour The following in the bottom of your bread machine pan:
1 1/4 cups Water — very warm
2 T Vegetable Oil
1 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla

Add 1 Jar Mix & top with

yeast from baggie.

Set your bread maker:
Regular, Basic, or Wheat with light/medium setting as you prefer.

  1. Preheat the oven to 200F (YES, 200.)

    You can actually make any bread machine recipe in your own oven. You just mix 1 c. of the bread machine mix, the yeast together and then add them to the liquids in the recipe (milk/water/oil,etc) in a large mixing bowl. Mixing well, add the remaining bread machine mix. Turn onto floured surface knead for 5-10 minutes, place dough back in lightly greased ovensafe (glass) bowl.

    Shut the oven off, place the dough (In an ovensafe glass bowl) into the oven with a small loaf pan half filled with hot water. Let it rise until double, punch it down, place it in a loaf pan, let it rise again.

    Bake at 350″ 30-35 minutes
