Make your own Freezer Chow Mein Mix to have on hand for quick stir fry anytime. Chow Mein are delectably tender stir fried noodles coupled with fresh veggies and this dish takes less than 30 minutes to get on the dinner table at night!

You’ll Need:
1 pkg Beef-mushroom freezer mix
1/4 c Water
1 tbs Soy sauce
2 tsp Cornstarch
2 tsp Molasses
1/4 tsp Ginger
1 can Chinese vegetables, drained
3 c Chow main noodles or 3 c Hot cooked rice

Dip container of frozen mix into hot water just to loosen. In 2-quart saucepan, heat frozen mix and water to boiling. Reduce heat; cover and simmer, stirring frequently, until mix is thawed, about 15 minutes.

Mix soy sauce, cornstarch, molasses and ginger; stir soy sauce mixture and Chinese vegetables into meat mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils.

Boil and stir 1 minute. Serve over chow mein noodles or hot cooked rice and top with additional soy sauce.
