Here is a simple, do it yourself, basic pasta recipe. This is a flavorful pasta this is simple to prepare.

2 egg, beaten
1 teaspoon salt
2 cup all-purpose flour
4 tablespoons water

Directions
In a medium sized bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the flour, add the slightly beaten egg, and mix. Mixture should form a stiff dough. If needed, stir in 1 to 2 tablespoons water.
Knead on a lightly floured surface for 3-4 minutes. Roll dough out to desired thinness, (either by hand or by pasta machine).

Liss’ Notes: *S* Someone bought my kids a playdough machine for christmas, so I use theirs. A friend of mine swears by pressing the dough through a metal colander.. .. I’ve watched her do it.. but to each his own.)
Use machine or knife to cut into strips of desired width.

( Cook fresh noodles in boiling salted water for 3 to 5 minutes. Drain.)
You can also add herbs to the flour, like basil, oregano, thyme, marjoram, whatever. We’ve even added Chili Pepper

Whole-Wheat Pasta
1 c Whole wheat flour
1 Egg
1 ts Vegetable oil; optional
1 tb To 2 water; if needed
Prepare as directed above.

Millions of families have quietly used this site to stretch a dollar without feeling like they're sacrificing anything.
