A1 Steak Sauce

This steak sauce recipe is a copycat of the famed A1 steak sauce. As a kid my parents would occasionally splurge and purchase a bottle, but we (the kids, I mean) rarely got to have any. It was for my dad only. As I got older, I discovered I could make my own with a few ingredients in my moms pantry.

You’ll Need:
1/2 C Orange Juice
1/2 C Raisins
1/4 C Soy Sauce
1/4 C White Vinegar
2 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
1 Tbsp Dried Grated Orange Peel
2 Tbsp Ketchup
2 Tbsp Chili Sauce

Dump everything into a saucepan over med heat. Boil, stirring continuously for 2 min. Remove from heat, cool 10 minutes, dump mixture into blender and puree. Pour into bottle or jar and & cover tightly. Will last approx 3 months in the refrigerator.

Don’t store this in the pantry.

A1 Steak Sauce is one of my all-time favorite condiments. I love its tangy, slightly sweet flavor, and it’s great for adding a bit of extra flavor to any dish. So when I saw this A1 Steak Sauce recipe, I knew I had to try it. And I’m so glad I did!

This homemade A1 Steak Sauce is even better than the store-bought version. It’s super easy to make, and the flavor is spot-on. Plus, it’s less expensive than buying A1 Steak Sauce at the store. If you’re a fan of A1 Steak Sauce, definitely give this recipe a try. You won’t be disappointed!

  2. I tried this recipe, and it’s fantastic! One tip: if you want a smoother texture, run the finished sauce through a fine mesh strainer. It’s perfect for drizzling over anything from steaks to baked potatoes. 🥔🥩
