Make your own Old Fashioned Flap Jacks in a Sack mix to have on hand for a quick, hearty breakfast or as great gift basket or gift bag addition.

4 cups quick oats
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup powdered milk
3 tablespoons baking powder
2 tablespoons cinnamon
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar

Combine all ingredients & measure 2 cups into ziploc or cone shape or vacuum seal bag (or jar). (makes 4 bags) Use within 3 months if stored in jar, ziploc-style bag, or within 6 months if using a vacuum seal bag.

2 eggs, beaten
1/3 cup oil
1 pkg. flapjack mix
1 c. water
Pour 1/4 cup batter on lightly oiled hot griddle.
Cook until bubbles form on top of pancake. Flip once, cooking until golden brown.
