Spaghetti Seasoning Mix

Spaghetti Seasoning Mix

1 tablespoon dried onion
1 tablespoon parsley, freeze-dried
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons bell peppers, freeze-dried
1 1/2 teaspoons salt — or to taste
1/4 teaspoon instant minced garlic
1 teaspoon sugar
3/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning — OR combination of oregano, basil, rosemary, thyme, sage, marjoram

Combine all ingredients in a ziploc bag and shake well. Seal with your vaccum sealer or in a baggie. Makes 1 packet

  1. was so excited to find this spaghetti seasoning mix recipe when i was making a lasagna calling for two packets of seasoning mix. i would have spent a couple dollars at the store not to mention the time it would take to go to the store. i happened to have everything on hand.

    i had probably had the green pepper flakes on hand for 10 years. It was nice to be able to use them and the lasagna turned out amazing.
