Almost Lipton’s Onion Soup Mix
3/4 c. minced onion
1/3 c. beef bouillon granules
4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp crushed celery seed
1/4 tsp sugar
Combine all ingredients and seal in ziploc or vacuum seal bag (or jar).

how much of this do you use to equal one package of lipton onion soup?
About 5 tablespoons of mix are equal to 1 1¼-ounce package.
To make onion dip: Mix 5 tablespoons with one pint of sour cream.

I keep a jar of this in my spice cabinet now. Way cheaper than store packets and no weird additives. Works great for meatloaf and pot roast—tastes just like the OG.
