Latin Spice Blend

Latin Spice Blend Mix

2 Tbs. dry mustard
2 Tbs. grated orange peel, dried
1 1/2 Tbs. allspice
1 1/2 Tbs. nutmeg
1 1/2 Tbs. ginger
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. cayenne

Combine spices and seal in ziploc or vacuum seal bag (or jar). Measure all into a ziploc bag, seal & shake to combine. Pour into a spice jar or bottle. Makes a Lovely Gift.

  1. I came across this Latin spice looking for a different Sazon blend than the one I currently use.
    The traditional blend of sazon includes coriander, cumin, achiote, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Since many prepackaged sazon seasonings contain MSG, I often make my own using what I have on hand.

    This sounds like a delish option, I look forward to trying it.
