This traditional Greek seasoning blend mix recipe is wonderful to add flavor to homemade Gyros, grilled meats, to whip up a quick flavorful salad dressing, vegetable dip, add flavor to burgers, hummus, oven fried potatoes and more.
You’ll Need:
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
1 teaspoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon beef bouillon granules
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Combine spices and seal in ziploc or vacuum seal bag (or jar). Measure all into a ziploc bag, seal & shake to combine. Pour into a spice jar or bottle.
Alternatively, the spices can be ground into a powder using an herb or spice grinder to create a greek seasoning rub.
love this. can’t wait to gift it
love it! i spend alot of money to buy this in the store every month.
I like Greek food but haven’t seen a recipe that calls for this. What do you use it for? I’m guessing to season chicken but after that I’m not sure.
Thanks!
