Gumdrop Cookie Mix

Gumdrop Cookie Mix

1 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup lightly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups (10 ounces) spiced gum drops, cut into pieces

Measure each item into layers if giving as a jar gift, cone gift, etc, or measure into a large ziploc bag or vacuum seal bag & seal.

(Recipe fits in a 1 Quart Jar)

Recipe Tag Directions:
Combine the following until well blended:
1 Pkg Mix
1/2 cup softened butter or margarine
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Shape into walnut-size balls, and place 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees F for 12 to 14 minutes, until edges are lightly browned.

Cool 5 minutes on baking sheet, then remove cookies, and put on baking racks to finish cooling.

Makes 2 1/2 dozen cookies.
