Cranberry Hooty-Creeks Cookie Mix cookies are easy to create and keep on hand for a yummy last minute treat or an inexpensive holiday gift idea.

5/8 cup all-purpose flour 1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Measure each item into layers if giving as a jar gift, cone gift, etc, or measure into a large ziploc bag or vacuum seal bag & seal.

(Recipe fits in a 1 Quart Jar)

Recipe Tag Directions:
Combine the following until well blended:
1 Pkg Mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 egg
1 teaspoon of vanilla

Drop by heaping spoonfuls onto greased Cookie sheets. Bake at 350F degrees F for 8 to 10 minutes, until edges start to brown.
Makes 18 cookies.

Alternatively, you can mix these cookies up all at once, roll them into a “log” shape on wax paper and freeze. Once frozen, slice the dough into cookies and bake as directed above.

For special gift-giving, wrap the (wax paper wrapped cookie dough log) in colored tissue paper, tie ribbon on the ends and attach a tag with the directions for baking.
