Christmas Biscotti Mix in a Jar
3/4 cup dried cranberries or cherries
3/4 cup shelled green pistachios
2 cups all purpose unbleached flour
1/2 teaspoon cardamom
2 tsp baking powder
2/3 cup Vanilla Sugar
Layer all ingredients in Jar Or vacuum seal bag.
GIFT TAG DIRECTIONS:
1/3 cup butter
2 eggs
1 Jar mix
Blend well, divide into 2 loaves (about 9″x 2″)Bake on greased cookie sheet at 375F for 24-28 minutes. Cool slightly, cut into 1/2″ slices. Bake at 325F for 6-8 minutes, turn and bake an additional 6-8 minutes on the other side. Cool. Can dip the ends in chocolate for an added treat.
