Quick Mix Recipes
The Following are all the recipes using a Bisquick Type Quick Mix

Apple Coffee Cake
2 cups bis-quick like mix
2/3 cup applesauce
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened or melted
2 apples, peeled, cored and diced
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/4 cup biscuit like mix
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, firm
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup chopped nuts, if desired

Combine first 9 ingredients. Spread in a lightly greased 3 1/2 quart crock pot (or spread in a lightly greased baking dish which fits in a larger sized crock pot). Combine streusel ingredients with a fork or pastry blender; sprinkle over the batter. Cover and cook on high for about 2 1/2 hours, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Apple Muffins
1 Egg
2 c Quick mix
3/4 c Finely Chopped Apple
1/3 c Sugar
2/3 c Milk
2 tsp Oil; vegetable
2 tsp Cinnamon; ground

Preheat oven to 400F.

Blend all and pour into greased muffin tins. Bake till golden brown, 15 -17 minutes.

Extra Light Quick Mix
Makes 7 c. mix
4 c. whole wheat flour
1 c. nonfat dry milk powder
2-1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. oil

Blend well until mixture resembles corn meal. Store in fridge.

Maple Bacon Pancake Casserole
1 1/2 cup Quick Mix
1 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
3/4 cup Milk
1/4 cup Maple flavored syrup
1 Tbsp. Sugar
2 Eggs
12 slices Bacon; cooked, crumbled

Grease and flour microwave-safe pie plate. Beat together baking mix,
1/2 cup cheese, milk, syrup, sugar and eggs with a wire whisk until only small lumps remain; pour into pie plate. Microwave uncovered on High for 5 1/2 to 7 1/2 minutes, making sure to rotate the pie plate a quarter turn every 2 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining
cheese and the bacon. Microwave uncovered until cheese is melted.

Quick Mix Chocolate Pudding
3/4 c. sugar
1/3 c. cocoa
2 c. milk
1 c. cold water
1/2 c .Quick mix

Mix sugar, baking mix and cocoa in a lg. saucepan. Gradually stir in milk. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil 1 minute; cool, stirring occasionally, to prevent a film from forming.

Quick Mix Cookies
1 3/4 c. Bisquick- like mix
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. shortening
1 egg
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Mix all ingredients until stiff, work with
hands until dough holds together. Shape into 1-inch balls.

Place 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Flatten each to
1/4-inch thickness with the bottom of a glass dipped
in Bisquick.

Bake 350 F 10-12min

Quick Mix Fudge Brownies

2 c Chocolate chips
1/4 c. Margarine
2 cup Quick mix
1 recipe Sweetened condensed milk
1 Egg; beaten
1 tsp Vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In large saucepan, over low heat, melt 1 cup chips with margarine; remove from heat. Add biscuit mix, condensed milk, egg and vanilla.

Stir in remaining chips. Turn into well-greased 13×9″ pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool. Garnish as desired. Cut into bars.

Sunflower Nut Muffins
2 cups Bisquick like Mix
1/4 cup grated Parmesan Cheese
1/4 cup roasted salted sunflower nuts
1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons snipped chives or sliced green onion tops
2 eggs
2 tablespoons roasted salted sunflower nuts

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease bottoms only of 12 medium
muffin cups, 2 1/2 x 1 1/4 inches or line with paper baking
cups. Mix all ingredients except 2 tablespoons sunflower
nuts. Beat vigorously 30 seconds. Fill muffin cups about 2/3
full. Sprinkle each with 1/2 teaspoon sunflower nuts. Bake
until golden brown, 15-18 minutes. Makes 12.
