Blueberry muffins are scrumptious on their own, but pair them with a National Holiday and you’ve got a real treat on your hands! In 1999 the US Department of Agriculture declared July to be National Blueberry Month to celebrate and promote this delicious antioxidant rich treat.

While there seems to be little proof of the true origin of National Blueberry Muffin Day, it’s still a fabulous way to enjoy the plump fresh blueberries that are now finally in season! Here are a few of our favorite tried and true recipes to delight your tastebuds….
