Create your own glowing ghosts for a bit of spooky decor – great for lighting up paths to the house for trick or treaters. This creative glowing ghost decor project takes about ten minutes to put together, so it’s perfect for last minute decorating!
How to Make Glowing Ghosts
You’ll Need:>
- Balloons, green & orange
- Glow-Sticks
- Sheets/ Tulle, thin wispy fabric of any kind
You can make glowing ghosts or aliens, depending on which color balloons you choose.
Simply activate the glow stick and insert it into the inflated balloon, knot it.
Choose varying sizes for the best effect
Flip the balloon upside down so the knot is at the top, draw eyes & a mouth with a black marker and fill them in. (I recommend the freaky slanted alien eyes on the green balloons for floating aliens).
Drape sheer fabric over the top such as tulle, cheesecloth, or a sheet that’s wearing very thin. In this picture we are using a simple Glad Trash-Bag
Finished Effect! These are really nice hung all over the yard, or in various parts of a Haunted House with some light breezes blowing on them so they can Drift.
i just love this idea. i love when a low cost craft looks expensive. it’s going to look awesome with my corn stalks and aliens with green spot light on them.
your craft will be holding a sign saying………………”they’re here” thanks for the idea! melmomma6
How cool is this!!! My kids will love it!
I would SO love to make these, but I live in Oklahoma, and it’s incredibly windy here, so the balloons would pop right away. Great idea though!
