I love to watch the baby clearance section. I pick up cute items like sock packs, ankle rattles or barrettes for a few dollars. Then I add my favorite baby care toiletries in a mini size.
It works really well to use a clearance blanket or sheet as the liner for the basket. Most of my baskets are from a local thrift store. Look for baskets that look brand new and give a good bath with a toothbrush before use.
A little clearance ribbon from the craft section looks great.
