I can’t get any of the survival kits to open…..help!!!!
i really like the survival kits, until i read the “nurse” and “doctor” ones! people really need education about what a nurse really does! this list are very degrading and offensive to nurses!
we have worked very hard for our education and status as nurses!
get it right, or get it off!
although not the survival kit contributor, i have made my own version for nurses and for nursing students (my daughter among them) who all loved them. i have worked in the field myself and am married to a medical provider. while a few may not take it that way, i think most recipients will think they are funny.
dark humor is a coping mechanism many of us find not only helpful, but necessary in the face of all we see.
i was actually a bit disappointed at first. i had expected actual survival kit suggestions, not merely gag gifts. i had thought i had found a great idea for next christmas’ presents for the guys in my family, so i was a bit disappointed. these will make cute gifts for my kids’ teachers and such, though!
the 60th bday one is a dead link. can someone please help? thank you !
Having survival kits ready and on-hand is extremely necessary – especially as we deal with hurricanes, power outages, nuclear threats, protest destruction, domestic terrorism, etc., etc., etc. – and yet this is the list you come up with??
This is what happens when anyone can post an article for clickbait instead of actually wanting to inform and care about people.
You’re in the crafts/gifts section dear, these are “Fun/Crafty” survival kits.
I was amused that you mention “clickbait” particularly since you injected your post with an advertisement for self promotion (which I replaced with a valid, decent link).
Btw, if you’re seeking SERIOUS survival kits, you’ll find those in the Prepared Living Section of our site.

One idea I love is the ‘Bad Day Survival Kit’ with chocolate, a stress ball, and a mini bottle of wine. 🍫🍷 It’s a simple way to show someone you’re thinking of them and brighten their day, even when things aren’t going so great!
Made mini glovebox survival kits with Tylenol, a granola bar, wet wipes, and duct tape. My daughter laughed—until her car broke down last month. Who’s laughing now?
I made mini survival kits for my kid’s teachers last year—hand sanitizer, gum, chocolate, and a stress ball! 😂 They were a HIT. Added a tag that said ‘You’ve survived worse!’ Total win.
These are such a fun gift idea! I made mini car kits with granola bars, hand warmers, and even mini deodorants. My teen rolled his eyes but thanked me two weeks later when he actually needed it. 😂
