Next weekend kicks off multiple Back To School Tax Free Events across the USA. A chance for parents and grandparents to shop for back to school supplies, without having to pay taxes on those purchases. Check out which states are participating and what items qualify as “Tax Free” in your State!

Prior to heading out we recommend that you make a list of items that are required by your child/grandchild’s school so that you know exactly what you need. If you know that your child will be wearing certain name brand clothing such as Old Navy or Aeropostale, be sure to print off coupons Prior to heading out the door. Some back to school sales days offer as much as 20% the Entire purchase order, which can be big savings when coupled with the tax free days. This is also a great time to stock up on home office supplies, additional school supplies for stocking stuffers and gift bag/basket additions for Christmas and impromptu birthday gifts for your kids friends that will inevitably pop up throughout the course of the school year.
