The hubby is at it again, came home complety drunk! This time he was happy but doesn't make it any better for me to interalize. I am beyond over it. Once again I turn to the good Lord, what doesn't kill me will make me stronger. Psalm 62 "he gives me stregth, he is my protection, and my rock"
For those who believe, please pray that this madness ends soon.
Take care and God Bless

Beans - I really do not know where to start ~ Have you tried telling your husband how much this UPSETS you and your children . I am sure he loves you and is sorry ,but he needs help ~ maybe an intervention from family or close friends . I'm praying for you and your children . Bobbi -Ne

I sympathize with you and I am so sorry you have to go through this. I've been there. My boys Daddy was like this but he turned really vicious when he was drunk. When he started hurting my children I had to do something. We hid from him for a long time. That was a very hard decision to make. With lots of prayers and soul searching you will find the answers that work for you.

Thanks girls, he won't hurt us, he just turns into another person, mean....never physical. Thank the good lord for that. THanks for all the prayers!

Beans I'm so sorry you have to go through this. My husband went through a period like this for awhile. It is really hard to deal with. He was never physical either, mostly a happy drunk. But it was the idea behind it that bothered me. I told mine that we weren't going to wait for him to do things with us anymore. So I planned life with out him. He was still with us, just didn't plan anything with him. After awhile he got to where it bothered him. He would ask me why I didn't let him know about plans for things. I told him when he stopped drinking and being a fool then I would include him on things. Until then I was going on with life. He got the hint real fast, and got where he didn't like being left alone. This is how I dealt with it, and it worked. It took so time and alot of patience, but he came around, finally. You are in my prayers beans, I want the best for you and your childern. The childern are the most important part of all this. What they see is what they know. I've always looked at it this way, chains are meant to be broken. I'm talking about the cycle of life. I'm not telling you to leave him, just that the cirlce shouldn't go in the same path all the time. He is repeating the same pattern all the time. It needs to be broke some where or somehow. My prayer for you is that God will help brake the same circle that is going on right now.
