Homemaking gifts

We all pretty much know that gifts of food at Christmas are traditional in many families and along with giving to friends as well.
Those of us who homemake our gifts - know that there are several friends and family members who look forward to our special gifts!!
Since almost everyone loves to eat - you can be assured that these presents will be welcomed—not stored in the attic until the next garage sale.
I have found also that preparing home-cooked gifts in a snug, sweet smelling kitchen is more fun than coping with crowded malls and slushy streets.
And best of all, a homemade gift shows the warmth and affection that we give from our heart!!

Since I am lucky to be off work the weekend after Thanksgiving I am going to put on some Christmas music . . . pour yourself a cup of hot cider . . . and start mixing my gifts!

Anyone wanna join me??

Sounds like a wonderful weekend planned. Is there some way we can bottle the "exact smell" of a warm kitchen with fresh baked items ? Over the river and thur the woods to Lynn's house we come. Enjoy !! Yourself Lynn..
