Budget101™ was initially created in at the request of several of these lively ladies who yearned to live within their means and get out of debt utilizing the resources that they currently had on hand. What started as a handful of people has grown to millions.

Melissa Burnell, known to her friends as “Liss,” founded Budget101.com nearly two decades ago. As a busy Wife, Mother of 2 young men and web developer, Liss understands the value of both time and money. She strives to provide new ways to save money in an ever-struggling economy.
