It's been almost a year since I checked in

It's been an eventful year for us. My baby girl had twin boys at the end of July. One was born before midnight and the other was born after midnight so they have their own birth dates. We moved two of our son's in with us to help us out and then our oldest son lost his job so his family moved in with us so we are kind of busting at the seams here. Our other daughter got married in October. She said she'd never get married but Mr Right crossed her path and is even on board with her doing her medical school where ever that might be. Anyway we will have them all here on the 24th and 25th. That will probably never happen again!
Here is our three generations of twins at my daughters Wedding with the groom holding the flowers while we all took pictures.
Two years ago I decided that all this rushing around at Christmas time trying to get everything done was crazy. Christmas comes the same day year after year. So now I start in January making my Christmas gifts for the coming year and by November 1st I have everything all wrapped up. I love going at the first of the year to collect cards and wrapping paper, etc that is left over after Christmas. So I have lots of stuff to wrap those gifts up with! Here is a picture taken in September with my big Santa's bag all filled up and the first box setting to the side of it down in my basement.
Anyway I made the mistake of posting a picture of a gift I am making for next years Christmas and my daughter's friend in California saw it and wanted one for a bed fast client of hers. So I dashed around and got that sent to her and she wanted 2 more for her daughters but was getting picky about the fabric. I live in the boon docks and Walmart is the only place to get fabric without having to drive 100 miles or more. I had to put my foot down and tell her no because I was flipping out going crazy and I only have so much energy to use each day. If I can get my Christmas all taken care of by November 1st, I think others should too! Or at least not drag me into their poor planning!
So now I can return to making all the Christmas popcorn up and start on those sugarless cookies and desserts. I do love my home grown Stevia that I dry and powder. A tiny pinch goes so very far!
I hope you all have a blessed Christmas Season with your friends and family!
