You are so right with this, so much money wasted on smear campaigns. I am glad that the elections are over today and I don't have to explain to the kids why someone did this or didn't do that.

I read that together both presidential candidates spend close to a BILLION dollars on the election, which comes to about $8 a voter. I would've really preferred the cash!

I think they should cancel all campaigning and just have debates, town Hall meetings, ect.

I'm trying to enjoy my last full day of summer like weather here in NW MO too! I know winter is coming, I just don't feel like dealing with it anytime soon!

My DD's & I are headed over to our delightful 20 cent store to shop and then get a load of center block to bring home. If we have to haul and unload and deal with it we might as well get to shop and at least do the work on a beautiful day!

The election is to day and all I can think of is how many millions of dollars these two people have spent to try and fill our heads full of crap ( sorry because I could not think of a better word)

It's a shame isn't it, all that money... wasted. I suppose it helped fund some newspapers, tv stations, etc, & keep those folks working, but other than that... . . .

Makes you wonder what the TOTAL cost of this comes out to! I heard that Palin's wardrobe alone was somewhere over $300,000. Not sure if that is true, but you never know!

I heard that there were clothing designers GIVING Sarah her cloths for FREE!!! Boy that would be nice here!!! But they mentioned her cloths being right up there.... All this wasteful spending could have helped ALOT of people who are loosing their homes!!
