Being a military family is hard you never know where how long you will be at military base/post. We can be moved around here and there, stateside or over seas where ever the military needs you, you go. It's nice when you meet other military wives that you have either been to a base that you came from or even better knows where home is.

I got lucky, my new friend I met thanks to Facebook who is also a military wife stationed here at lovely (sarcasm) Joint base Lewis McChord. My new friend is from where I grew up in Virginia and it brought back so many memories of back home and when I said the old bridge she knew exactly what I was talking about and her family knows my family. it's great to have little bit home even we are so far away.

I will have to say I understand every word. I grew up army brat, married a marine who is now active duty army national guard.....we have been lucky and not had to move around unless we wanted to but it is a hard life to live anyway.
