Wrong side of the Bed I guess

I suppose I must've woken up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.
I got up at 5 to have coffee with my husband before he had to head off (2 hour drive to work!), I was not overly happy to greet a brisk 34F outside, with no heat on in the house. Then my youngest got up, not feeling his best, to say the least. Being bound and determined to stay home from school today, he ended up missing the bus, which was 10 minutes early! The school is 20 minutes away and I had to still wake his older brother (who gets on the bus later, go figure!).
As soon as I picked up the car keys, the dog started going ape, as he usually does when he thinks it's time to go for a Ride. I went to grab some socks and when I came out, he was relieving himself in front of the door! Something that he has NEVER ever done in the house... and I was livid, more at myself for assuming he was going nuts over going for a ride rather than saying, "MOM, I Gotta Go Right NOW!". So I get to wear the Dunce cap today folks, hmm..fits good..too good.
So, cleaned his mess, got kid #2 out the door to the bus, dog outside (day late and a dollar short), and mug of coffee in hand, opened the door to the truck and went to set my coffee down and the dat gum dog decided he wasn't waiting for me to open the back door (quad cab), he just plowed his way into the truck, Coffee everywhere! Down my arm, on the dashboard, you name it, it was dripping. Drag the dumb dawg (here the Joisey Accent?) out by his collar, scolding him with scalding coffee running down my hands, he's looking at me like I've lost my mind, ethan is still trying to get out of going to school and I'm ready to go back to bed, forget about being late to work already!
I'm really hoping that the beginning of this day is not an indication of what is in store the remainder of the day!
