Feeling a bit crafty? Print out this free slice of pie template to create individual gift boxes that can be filled with various goodies such as homemade mixes, gift cards, handmade or store-bought jewelry and much more!
I so wanted to share this idea last year, but here is the Temping Pie I made for my parents for Christmas! Each box was filled with a different treat, some edible, some not.. such as White Chocolate Macadamia Nut cookie mix, Lowes & Home Depot Gift Cards, Beef Stew Seasoning Mix Packets (my mom’s favorite!), a new pandora charm and a few other goodies!
Here’s how to make them… are you ready for this? It’s so easy!!
Print out the Free Printable Template
Cut it out.
There are lots of ways to do this. You can choose to print the template directly on plain or decorative card stock or you can do what I’ve done, which is to print out the template, cut it out and then trace it onto heavy scrapbook paper in various holiday designs and colors. Then cut them out.
The solid lines are the lines you cut around. The dotted lines are the lines you score (crease gently) to fold the box.
Apply glue to the edges that are shown here in blue- these are the areas that hold your box together.
You can create an entire pie, then wrap it with decorative ribbon, or individual pie slices, just attach a bow and a tag to finish them off!
