Tired of dry-cracked lips? This wonderful hydrating lip gloss recipe will rehydrate those dry, cracked lips, add a lovely sheen and has fantastic flavor to boot.
You’ll Need:
4 Tbs. Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
2 tsp Raw Honey
Kool-Aid Packets (in whatever colors/flavors you prefer)
Lip Gloss Containers
Pour the kool-aid packets into separate tiny bowls.
Mix the coconut oil and honey together until completely incorporated. This can be done in a very small bowl with a spoon.
Add about a Tablespoon of the honey/coconut oil mixture to each Kool Aid Flavor. Stir until the color is thoroughly mixed in and nearly melted together. (The coconut oil will melt as it warms to room temperature.
Stir Well and transfer the gloss into an empty Chapstick container or lip gloss container.
Allow the gloss to solidify before using.
Apply liberally, as often as desired.

i’m curious, do you use the whole packet of kool-aid for each tablespoon mixture of coconut/honey or is it one package for the whole 4Tbsp EVCO/2Tsp Raw Honey?
sounds delish and i’m sure it taste great too!
this is too cool! :hand-icon:
i am going to try t his one asap:
living in arizona, coconut oil turns to liquid starting in may so this would have to be refrigerated and or, put in a rollerball style container. also, i would think you would have to be careful of the color of the kool aid, if you used lime i would think it would stain your lips green? i think i would opt for cherry or strawberry flavors or mix some together like grape and cherry to get a plum color?
living in vermont the winters are hard on the lips. can’t wait to try this. :beaverhug:
i wouldnt carry this in purse or pocket in warm months it would melt and make a mess maybe add some bees wax to keep from melting
What is kook aid and is it available in the UK ?
Any idea what the ratio of kool aid to honey/coconut oil is??? Do you use 1 whole kool aid pack per lip gloss container or is it divided out among several containers? Details please!!
Thanks!
Yes, it says, “Add about a Tablespoon of the honey/coconutoil mixture to each Kool Aid Flavor.”
