    • Can these recipes be used in Hasbro’s newer model….the Easy Bake Ultimate Oven?

Yes, these recipes work in the Ultimate. Just keep them low within the pans. My daughter are having ever so much fun going through these recipes in her ultimate.

  4. i have used the unbaked cake and brownie batters to fill the dessert portion of homemade t.v. dinner trays. works great right from the freezer.

just remember to remove any covering off the dessert section so it does’t stick.

i tend to reuse the plastic oven safe ones, but i have found some that come with their own lids to purchase. usually at walmart.

  5. i had one of these 45 years ago lol there were only a few cake flavors and a cookie mix. They never came out good, now you can be a gourmet chef! As a prank I made little pies filled with toothpaste – April fools.

  9. Hasbro announced that the Easy-Bake Oven, which has been a fan favorite since it came out in 1959, is set to end its run this year due to federal regulations that essentially prohibit the toy’s heating element. The oven, introduced in 1963, cooked up tiny cakes and cookies thanks to the original bulb’s energy inefficiency.

    • Actually, the ovens are still being sold, they’ve just been redesigned to no longer require a lightbulb for use. Unfortunately, they’ve also redesigned the pan sizes as well and the recipes that worked for years need to be readjusted. The pan sizes are significantly smaller now.

  10. The Easy Bake Ultimate Oven Deluxe Pan are 5.5″ x 3.63″ x 0.5″ and hold approximately 3 tablespoons of batter or dough before it starts to overflow during baking.

Keep that in mind when you’re trying to convert recipes made for previous easy bake oven versions.

  11. My mother in law just gifted my daughters with an old Easy Bake Oven (from the 90s) – I’m new to using an EBO and have been reading that you have to be careful not to overfill the pans – are these recipes ok to use in the older model EBO? Thank you for posting all these recipes and for your help with my question!

    • I’m wanting to know the answer for this too! I have my original from the 90s I’d like my daughter to be able to use but not sure what to do about the mixes because the refills are all for the new ultimate model now.
