Sometimes when little ones play, they have a tendency to eat what they’re playing with. As moms, we try to be in 10 different places at once, watching them every second, but things happen and they move quickly. Here are a couple of our favorite Edible Playdough Recipes. Dough recipes that won’t hurt your little ones if they eat some or all of it!
Recipe 1:
1 c. Creamy Peanut Butter
2 c. Powdered Sugar
1/2 c. Honey
Combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl until smooth.
Recipe #2
½ c Brown sugar
½ c Peanut butter
2 T Granola (optional)
Combine all, If it is too dry, add more peanut butter. Too Moist, add more brown Sugar. Add granola, if desired, for extra interest and nutrition.
Recipe
8 oz. package of cream cheese
1/2 cup non-fat dry milk
1 tablespoon honey
(optional crackers or bread slices)
Combine Cream cheese, milk and honey and cream together. Let the child form shapes and place them on crackers to munch on.
Recipe #4
2 cups smooth peanut butter
2 cups rolled oats
2 cups dried milk
2/3 cups honey
Mix all ingredients until thoroughly combined.
Each recipe has it’s own benefits, one has texture, one is just really delicious! Give the child cookie cutters, various utensils to make tracks & shapes, rollers etc.

great idea, wish there was a recipe that didn’t include peanut butter, my daughter is allergic.
