Store bought creamers contain a long list of ingredients including items that are difficult to pronounce, so we decided to create our own.
The secret ingredient in this recipe is the coconut oil, which imparts a creamy texture that reproduces that of the store-bought product you're probably used to.
The first time I realized that I needed this recipe we were living in the northwoods about an hour and half from the nearest grocery store. Luckily I always keep powdered milk on hand for baking and coconut oil and figured after reading from the list of ingredients on the back of a creamer container, "reproducing this shouldn't be that hard". A few minutes later, coffee bliss. Smooth, rich, hot coffee with just the right amount of creamer, I vowed never to buy it again.
3 cups Powdered Milk or Powdered Whole Milk (Organic)
3/4 c. Powdered Sugar
1 1/2 Tbs Coconut Oil
Melt the coconut oil, the combine all three ingredients in a food processor, mason jar bullet, or blender and blend until it reaches a finely powdered consistency.
