1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1 Tbs. chopped crystallized ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
Process the above ingredients until ginger is finely chopped and mixture is well blended. Place in a 3 x 4-inch Ziploc bag and seal.
Attach a gift tag with the directions on how to prepare the dip.
1 pkg. Fruit Dip
1 8oz pkg. Cream cheese, softened
1 cup Vanilla Greek Yogurt
Combine the yogurt with the softened cream cheese, beating until well blended. Add the package of fruit dip mix, stir to combine. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour to allow flavors to blend. Serve with fresh fruit cut into bite-size pieces.
For a Lower fat Version, use neufchâtel cheese in place of the cream cheese.
For a Tropical Twist, add 1/4 cup shredded coconut and a 6oz can of Drained Crushed Pineapple
For a Nutty Twist, add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans and 1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg
