Sloppy Joe Ramen

The lack of an Ingredient is the mother of a new recipe, I always say! I had laid my ground beef out to thaw and browned it make Sloppy Joes for supper when I realized I had no bread and no time to bake any. So I frantically looked around the kitchen and behold Ramen noodles where in the cabinet, hence my family’s favorite dish was born. We now it the more dear than the original Sloppy Joes.

You’ll Need:
3 packs Ramen noodles any flavor (don’t need flavor packs)
3 or 4 Tbsp. Budget101’s Sloppy Joe Seasoning Mix (depending on how strong
you want it)( I don’t have dried bell peppers so I add frozen)
1 lb. Ground Beef
2 quarts Canned Diced Tomatoes with juice (we can our own)(48 oz if you
don’t)
1/2 or 1 cup Water (more or less, depending on how much liquid is in tomatoes)
1 cup Frozen Chopped Bell Peppers (some times I add 2 cups, our family
likes them)

Brown beef and drain. In large pot with lid add water, tomatoes, and Sloppy Joe Seasoning. Mix well, and bring to a boil. Then add Ramen noodles (broken up some), beef and bell pepper. Next reduce heat to simmer and cover with lid. Cook for 20-30 min. watching closely so that it doesn’t stick or need more water added. This meal serves 6 people.

If you want more meat in yours and can afford it use 2 lbs. ground beef instead. Hope you enjoy!
