Lentil Chili with Sour Cream*
*Lentil Chili with Sour Cream
Bring 2 cups water, 1 cup lentils and a 1 1/4-oz pkg Sloppy Joe mix to a boil. Cover; simmer 18 minutes, or until lentils are tender. Stir in 15-oz can tomato sauce; simmer 5 minutes more.
i can’t wait to try your recipe mos! that’s a really simple recipe, much less work than mine.
we usually make a crockpot full,
8 cups veggie broth
1 medium yellow onion, diced
1 large red bell pepper, diced
5 cloves garlic,minced garlic
1 Tbs chili powder
1 (16-ounce) package brown lentils (about 2 1/4 cups lentils- rinsed and picked over)
2 (15-ounce) cans diced fire Roasted tomatoes
2 tbs chopped fresh cilantro
Combine all the ingredients in the crockpot and let it simmer all day for a delicious hearty chili at night. I prefer to sauté the veggies and garlic together to get a caramelized texture, then transfer then to the slow cooker with the remaining ingredients.

Take it one step further and make a batch of “Dirt Pudding” then place the carrots part way into the soil, adorable and easy!
1 1/4 lb. pkg. Oreo Cookies
2 sm. pkgs. instant vanilla pudding (or instant chocolate pudding if you want a VERY rich dessert)
3 c. milk
1 stick butter
8 oz. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip
Crush Oreos in a blender,
then set aside. Mix 2 packages vanilla pudding with 3 cups milk. Set aside for at least 5 minutes. In the meantime combine butter, cream cheese, powdered sugar until smooth, add entire container of Cool Whip. Once this mix is smooth, add the prepared pudding.
Press half of the Oreos in the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch pan. Spread pudding mixture on top of this and then sprinkle the remaining crushed Oreos on top of pudding. Keep refrigerated.

These look fabulous! What’s the estimated baking time?
They took about 15 minutes but they didn’t get completely crispy, I think I sliced them too thick. I’m going to try the microwave chip trick with them next time instead.February 8, 2016 at 2:24 pm in reply to: How to Recover Files after You’ve Deleted From Recycle Bin #462853
Thank you so much for sharing this video and taking the time to add this here to the site. I accidentally deleted a very important file this morning and I remembered that I saw something here a couple weeks ago about recovering files so I searched and found this. I can’t tell you how much grief your post saved me!
I’ve tried a couple of different ones but the one that stands out in my mind the most are the Shakeology drinks. They’re utterly disgusting no matter what you add to them and they cost a fortune (about $4 each) by the time you’re done shelling out. I think they work by making people unable to afford groceries lol.
Your best bet is to forgo the diet shakes and just preplan meals and snacks. Most of them work (short term) and as soon as you stop buying them or consuming them the weight packs right back on.
