This one is still available by taking their hard hat challenge! Ordered it for my husband who works with concrete all day.August 9, 2013 at 10:18 pm in reply to: What would you do if you had a Scotch Laminating Machine? #441839
Thank you!! I didn’t realize that I’d won until I got the shipping notification from amazon! I’m so excited, thank you!
I loved the idea of 1 Chicken, 5 meals so here is the menu plan I came up with
1 Deli Chicken (it was 4 lbs), roasted potatoes, broccoli
Chicken Corn Chowder
Chicken and CousCous salad
Adobe chicken sandwiches (I used the chipotle mayo recipe here and just mix chicken chunks and chopped pickled jalapeno peppers)
It’s only 4 meals because I chopped it all up and separated the meat and that’s what I had enough for. Well, I guess I can make broth/soup from the bones, but I’d rather let the racoons have the carcass.

Am anxious to try Mom”Super Laundry Sauce.
Welcome to the site! I’m fairly new too, I just started posting today. I’ve been reading the site for a long time though. You’ll love the laundry sauce just make sure you do the no cook version thats posted.

I was wondering if it matters when you add the soap to the machine? I normally start filling up the water, and then add the detergent, and then add the clothes. Is it okay to do it that way, or do you need to add the clothes, then the water, then the soap?
I always drop in the laundry sauce then fill my machine with water first then add my clothes and it works fine for me. I’ve only made 1 batch so far and it’s lasted me MONTHS.August 9, 2013 at 11:37 am in reply to: What would you do if you had a Scotch Laminating Machine? #441757
Thank you for the challenge! I saw a neat craft idea last spring at a craft show where they shaved crayons onto the sheets and then laminated them. It made really pretty “stained-glass” suncatchers for the windows.
I have a rather large sunroom and the birds sometimes hit the windows, so I would use the laminator to make the suncatchers and hang them all over. Thank you for the challenge.
