Thanks :worthy:May 28, 2014 at 3:01 am in reply to: B101 Challenge: Share your Best (DIY) Graduation Gift Idea (Must be under $12!) #453703
I have one that is relatively odd! My most memorable gift that turned out to be a huge help was bed raisers.
bed raisers are like jacks for your bed. they make it so much easier to store so much more under my bed without taking up any more room in my dorm and saved floorspace.
you can get them on Amazon for just a few dollars and they are worth every penny!
These are wonderful ideas, thank you so much for sharing them!February 10, 2014 at 3:52 am in reply to: 2012 Family Guide to Groceries under $250 a Month (Kindle Edition) #450610

No, this post is a bit old, but the book is worth every penny, you’ll save more than that your first shopping trip. I refer to my copy all the time! :stars:December 30, 2013 at 1:56 pm in reply to: Free "Michaud Move Forward" Bumper Sticker (Maine) #446919
this is what the sticker looks like if you’re interested in it.

We make Reindeer Bites- you take little pretzels, add a rolo candy to it (make a whole tray of them!) them put them in the oven for about 2 minutes to soften the chocolate and caramel than cover it with a pecan and squish it down gently. I dont remember when the kids started calling them reindeer bites, but they are OH SO GOOD.
After reading all of those great new recipes on Gb101 I can’t Wait to get a digital pressure cooker!
Since this is supposed to be a Meal Basket idea for the whole family, this is what I would make:
- Dreaming of a White Christmas Soup Mix
- Parmesan Herb Biscuit Mix
- Italian Herb & Dried Tomato Risotto Mix
i would place these in the santa suit pail with a couple new spoons and some wrapped homemade chocolates.
Thanks for this I love posting the video to FB everyyear haha
I used to love the GroceryGuide, I hate that they don’t support it any longer. It just goes to show you how sites can disappear when they aren’t properly supported by the members. I make it a point to visit the advertisers on the sites that I frequent, just to ensure they stay open!
Oh My! These sound delicious too! I’m going to have to start searching for all the fat free recipes, lol!
This sounds delish! Thank you for sharing, I’m going to make some tomorrow to go with the apples I bought today.August 9, 2013 at 12:38 am in reply to: What’s the Most Money-Saving Tip you ever received/learned? #441706
The best money saving tip I’ve ever learned is how to make my own cleaners and convenience foods. We don’t buy something unless we absolutely NEED it. That’s how we’ve been able to pay off our house.
