(This is another recipe I found in a Proctor & Gamble coupon booklet. It looked kind of neat to me! 🙂 )
2 14/ cups granulated suagr
2/3 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
3/4 cup melted butter
Add in Options:
1/2 cup chocolate, vanilla or butterscotch chips
1/2 cup mini marshmallows
1/2 cup chopped or whole walnuts or pecans
1.) Preheat oven to 350. Grease & flour 9×9 baking pan.
2.) Mix together. flour, baking powder, salt, melted butter & eggs in a large bowl.
Add sugar, cocoa powder & any options if desired. Mix all thoroughly until well blended.
3.) Spread brownie batter evenly into greased baking pan.
4.) Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Depending on what special ingredients you add, cooking time may very.
Make sure you keep an eye on the brownies to keep them from burning. Cool completely in pan before cutting into squares.
