Yam Casserole
4 medium yams — cooked and peeled
8 ounces crushed pineapple in juice — drained
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup butter
dash salt
2 cups miniature marshmallowsMash yams and stir in remaining ingredients except marshmallows. Pour into a buttered 2 qt. casserole.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes or until heated through. Top with marshmallows. Broil for a couple of minutes to brown the top of the marshmallows.

Here is my dumb question, which shows how much I still have to learn about cooking….
How do you cook the yams? Boil? Bake?
Nuke? How long and what temp (for baking)?

boiled them in skins. peel, mash, and whip yams until smooth..
