4 medium yams — cooked and peeled
8 ounces crushed pineapple in juice — drained
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup butter
2 cups miniature marshmallows
Mash yams and stir in remaining ingredients except marshmallows. Pour into a buttered 2 qt. casserole.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes or until heated through. Top with marshmallows. Broil for a couple of minutes to brown the top of the marshmallows.

Here is my dumb question, which shows how much I still have to learn about cooking….
How do you cook the yams? Boil? Bake?
Nuke? How long and what temp (for baking)?
