This can serve as a main dish or an appetizer, depending on how many people or at your potluck.
      Whiskey Marinaded Baby Back Ribs
      5 lb. baby back ribs
      1/4 cup soy sauce
      1/4 cup whiskey
      1/4 cup honey
2 tbs finely grated fresh ginger
1 1/2 tsp freshly ground white pepper
      1 tsp peanut oil
      1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Place ribs in a large baking dish. In a bowl, whisk soy sauce, whiskey, honey, ginger, pepper, oil, and cinnamon. Pour the marinade over the ribs and re-arrange to coat. Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least four hours. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and place the ribs on top. Roast for 2 hours, then remove from oven. Preheat the grill, and grill the ribs over medium heat on each side for about 3-4 minutes, or until lightly charred.
