using orphaned socks on your swiffer has been on facebook and probably other places. i’ve been using old socks, orphaned socks and thrift store socks for years for different jobs around the house for years.
if you run out ofsheets for your wet/dry mop (swiffer) just dampen an inside out sock or bootie withyour favorite cleaning solution, ( i use a spray bottle with water or cleaningsolutions that i have made, depends on the job). this can be sparyed o thefloor as you go. stretch the sock aroundthe head and use as you normally would.
the cotton sock will effectively pickup dust and dirt. bonus: when you’re finished cleaning, you can just toss thesock in the wash and reuse.
note: kids and youngadults have decided it’s in style to wear mismatched socks. i have found athrift store that sells socks and you can get them from 25 to 50 cents. If you get a hole in your sock don’t throw the mate away keep it .
There are many uses for that sock.
