      (1) Beans and cornbread. Make some red beans in the slow cooker, season well. Add some smoked sausage or ground beef or even pot roast if you have it, to bulk it up. Serve over rice for a bit of variety. Put a green veggie or a salad on the side. Quick easy and very economical. Esp. if you use dry beans! In our area, they can be had for $0.49 a bag. (2) Chili (3) Homemade breakfast – pancakes, eggs, fried potatoes. If you have it, add a meat of some kind – ham, bacon, sausage, smoked sausage, etc. (4) Oatmeal, some bacon and toast on the side. (5) Cream of Wheat (5) Biscuits, bacon and eggs (6) Homemade pizza (much less expensive than delivery and easy to customize) Herlean
