What have you won lately???

I just recently won two tickets to the boat show in Richmond Va and a 4-pack of CD’s. (on the radio)

My daughter won two wrestling tickets for a Feb event also (on the radio)

I listen to the radio all day while surfing and working and that is how I win, my friends and co-workers around here do it alot too 🙂

Last thing I’ve won is an argument. But seriously the only thing I remember ever winning is a contest in middle school for dressing up as Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

I won tickets recently to meet one of my favorite bands. I entered on a website thinking I had no chance and then the tour manager called me and I was so surprised. I got to talk to the band (Taproot, they are a hard rock band that I love!) for 45 minutes too so it was way better than I expected!

I won a go-cart from Publix when I was in fourth grade. I remember them wheeling me out of the store in it taking pictures like I was a celebrity, it was funny.

Now I’m just waiting to win the lottery! Come on baby…

I won 2 tickets to the local radio station’s holiday concert with many of the popular pop singers so it was fun and the tickets were worth about $100!

But nothing other than that… unless you consider the freebies in the my mailbox? 😉

That’s it, I have not had alot of time to enter the Sweeps lately, I use to do it religiously but got off schedule around Xmas, need to put this back in my routine.

Several years back I won a ski trip for 2 to Steamboat Springs CO. We do not ski, so we sat in the bars and ate buffalo wings, also went to see Rain Man (I quess it was more that a couple years ago).

Seven years ago I won (on the radio) a family four pack of tickets to Kings Dominion to meet Jessica Simpson and Eden’s Crush (the lead singer – Nicole – of that group ended up creating her own group later – the Pussycat Dolls) we got to ride roller coaster with Nicole and the gang then went back stage and met and got pictures with Jessica Simpson. She sang a song for my kids.

19 years ago I won a trip (from the Va Lottery) to the Phoenix international racetrack to watch a race and to meet Terry Labonte. Transfered that to my brother he had a blast!!

Mind you – I enter almost every contest I come in contact with – and I do win quite often. Right now I am in a drawing for Rascal Flatts tickets fromt he local station here. 🙂 Wish me luck 🙂
