My dad and step-mom put all of theirs inside out and run them through the dishwasher; is that ok?? I always wondered if it was safe.My hubby’s aunt just gaveus a foodsaver, which I am so grateful for, and I was wondering about the cost of the baggies too.

      What do you all think???

I would put meat in ziplock bags, then seal it inside the other bag. That way you can safely re-use the bag. Re-using a bag that has just been wash out with meat in it is not a good idea.

The bags were kind of expensive, but someone said they could be washed. it seemed tosuck all the air out of the bags of hamburger.
