      why do you say that? I have done that for years, and never had any trouble. I do wash them very thoroughly.

      I would put meat in ziplock bags, then seal it inside the other bag. That way you can safely re-use the bag. Re-using a bag that has just been wash out with meat in it is not a good idea.

      The bags were kind of expensive,but someone said they could be washed. it seemed tosuck all the air out of the bags of hamburger.
