Is there some reason you _don’t_ want to fill this out? This

information is used in a variety of different ways, not just to get

some basic information across the nation. For example, in graduate

school we made use of this information to come up with a group of

study participants that mirrored certain demographics; we never would

have been able to do this — or if we did it would have been a much

longer and arduous task — had we not had this census information.

And we did not see specific information about specific people who

answered the questions, it was aggregated at the zip-code level (ie,

here’s the percentages of demographic X for zip code 12345).

I encourage you all to take the time to answer this important survey.
