      Hi Jamie,

Our local library just did a tye dye tshirt class for the teens and all they used was permanent markers (Sharpies) and rubbing alcohol. They twisted and secured the shirts with rubber bands (just like regular tye dye-ing) then colored in permanent markers on the twisted part, brushed on rubbing alcohol let it sit for a couple of minutes then took off the rubber bands and it looked just like tye dyeing! (BTW, I washed one of the shirts already and it faded just a little, but it still looks great!)
      Good Luck,
      Beth
