TXU Energy handing out ‘smart’ thermostats FREE! “iThermostat” (TX ONLY)
Contact them and get your FREE thermostat. You will have to install it yourself or hire someone to do it for you. This will save you some money on your electricity bill. It allows you to controll your air conditioning via the internet!
The iThermostatTM is free to eligible customers in the Oncor Electric Delivery service area who participate in the TXU Energy Conservation Program. This program allows TXU Energy to cycle on and off a customer’s heating and air conditioning system during periods of peak energy demand — typically between the hours of 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. from May through September.
