      you may not have cooked it long enough ..

      Ivory is a “wetter” soap .. after grating let sit for a while not in plastic
      .. so it can somewhat dry out before adding the water

      its too bad the flakes aren’t availiable as you could roll out and “flour”
      the pin ..

      My suggestion: take a bar of soap take off the wrapper stick it on the
      counter somewhere to dry out may take more than a day …fine grate it .. use it
      as
      “flour” as needed

      if you need more vibrant colour use the food colouring that is a powder or
      paste (cake decorating) reg food colouring will probably only make the soap a
      pastel ..
