Since the Flu has decided to spend some time at my house, I thought I would share some tips for dealing with it. . .
1. Make Your Own Gatorade (1 pkg of Kool Aid, 2/3 c. Sugar, 2 tsp Baking Soda, 2 qts cold water)
Copycat that you cant taste the difference:
1 package unsweetened Kool-Aid powdered drink mix (any flavor)
2 quarts cold water
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup orange juice
2. Drink lots of fluids- not sure whether you’re getting enough (If the color of your urine is close to clear, you’re getting plenty, if it’s a dark yellow, you need More fluids).
3. Wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands.
4. Get Some Sleep- this is one that you cant skip. Besides, with the nausea you’ll feel, sleep is the only thing that makes it better.
